What's New in Sevierville, Tennessee
3 Things to Look for in 2016

2016 will offer great new shopping experiences, attractions and fun rides. Here are 3 things to look for in Sevierville this year.

3) New Restaurants are on the way to Sevierville – including popular chain restaurants Burger-Fi and Chipotle. Add that to the new restaurants that opened in late 2015, including Sitar Indian Restaurant and Panda Express, and you’ve got a lot of new options.

2) Sevierville has just added several new stores to its already impressive retail list. Shop Under Armour Kids, Talbots, Alex and Ani, and Ecco at Tanger Outlets Sevierville. Then check out new stores at River Landing, including Dick’s Sporting Goods, PetSmart, Ulta Cosmetics and Hobby Lobby.

1) Sevierville’s own Dolly Parton is bringing a new attraction and a thrilling new roller coaster to the Smoky Mountains this year. See Dolly Parton’s Lumberjack Adventure Dinner & Show – an all-new show with head-to-head lumberjack competitions and hearty campfire chow. Deep in a mystical forest on the eve of the blue moon, a storyteller weaves a tall tale of enchantment that magically transforms some dilapidated ruins into a fully-functioning mountain saw mill of the 1800s. From out of the past come mountain folk and lumberjacks to participate in thrilling competitions as they celebrate life in the logging camps in this spellbinding new show. Then check out Lightning Rod – the world’s fastest wood coaster and also the world’s first launching wood coaster – at Dollywood. Themed after a tricked out 1950s era hot rod, Lightning Rod launches riders from zero to 45 mph more than 20 stories up its lift hill to one of the ride’s first airtime moments.
