1. Hike in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

The Great Smoky Mountains are Sevierville’s backyard and America’s most visited national park. With 800 miles of maintained trails, Great Smoky Mountains National Park offers hikes for everyone from after-work treks to day-long affairs. Not much of a hiker? 2. Take in a Tennessee Smokies Baseball Game

From April to September, take part in America’s favorite pastime at Tennessee Smokies Stadium. This 6,000 seat stadium is home to the Tennessee Smokies, the AA affiliates of the Chicago Cubs. Home games feature a variety of promotions for families, including Friday night fireworks, pet-friendly games, family fun days, super hero nights, concerts, and more!

3. Zipline Through the Mountains

For an adrenaline rush unlike any other, go on a zipline adventure! With all of the natural beauty and mountainous landscapes our area provides, there’s no surprise this thrilling activity is so popular. Head to Adventureworks and climb, zip, and swing your way through the trees during a 2-hour tree top adventure. Foxfire Mountain is home of the tallest zipline in the Smokies–the Goliath! Adventure Park features seven exciting zip lines that range from 450 to 2,500 feet long. At CLIMB Works, your feet won’t touch the ground for over two hours on nine world-class ziplines, three sky bridges, and a “surprise ending.”

4. View the Autumn Leaves from Above

Treat your eyes to a panorama of colorful leaves by taking a quick flight over the foothills or venturing into Great Smoky Mountains National Park for a bird’s-eye view of the park’s fantastic fall foliage. Scenic Helicopter Tours lets you choose from twelve different tours ranging from a flight over the French Broad River to the Smoky Mountain Spectacular tour, which flies over Greenbrier Valley, Newfound Gap, Clingman’s Dome, Cades Cove, and more.

5. Get into the Holiday Spirit at Smoky Mountain Winterfest

Sevierville and the Great Smoky Mountains area dazzle with millions of twinkling lights during Smoky Mountain Winterfest. Winterfest has become a holiday tradition beloved by many visitors who return year after year to enjoy the lights, shows, attractions, and of course.. shopping! Sevierville features nearly 150 name brand outlet stores where shoppers can find everything from jewelry and clothing to tools and furniture.
