abound in the great outdoors. Hit the slopes at Ober Gatlinburg, only thirty minutes
from downtown Sevierville. Tennessee’s only ski resort, Ober features nine slopes,
and a combination of both natural snow (weather dependent) and manmade snow. One green
circle slope, six blue square slopes and two black diamond slopes mean there are plenty
of options no matter your skiing experience. The slopes open sometime in December each year,
depending on the weather, but even when the slopes aren’t open you can still enjoy year-round
activities including the indoor ice rink and scenic aerial tramway.
After skiing, enjoy an exhilarating ride through treetops – complete with spectacular views – on one
of Sevierville’s thrilling zip line courses. Foxfire Mountain offers some of the highest lines around
(at 475 feet off the ground) and no leaf cover on the trees means unobstructed views of the mountains.

Smoky Mountain Winterfest,
which runs from November 13 – February 22. Enjoy millions of beautiful holiday lights positioned
along the roadways from the comfort of your car or take a drive through Shadrack’s Christmas
Wonderland – billed as the most immersive light show on Earth.

areas built for even the littlest tadpoles to enjoy.
The Smokies are perhaps their most spectacular during fall. Brilliant color hangs on the branches
from mid-October to mid-November and businesses in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg are

that guide leaf-lookers along the backroads to historic sites and scenic locations.
