8:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Visit Great Smoky Mountain National Park. This free event is a great way to start your getaway—soak in the beauty of nature and mountain vistas.
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Check into your Sevierville hotel, freshen up, and relax.
6:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Enjoy dinner at Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant. From the fritters to the fried chicken, this is a delightful experience that you won’t want to miss! You’re not rushed for time, so enjoy the scenery and each other!
8:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Grab drinks at a Sevierville Distillery, and enjoy a local taste of moonshine. Check out a few distillery options here.
9:30 PM: Head back to the hotel for a great night’s sleep!
Smoky Mountain Trip Idea #2
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Morning Hike in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Laurel Falls is a great place to hit early-morning to avoid the crowds!
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Enjoy one of the many museums in Sevierville. Choose from a crime museum, a muscle car museum, an aviation museum, and more! View a list of some favorites on our website.
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Head to historic downtown Sevierville for lunch at Graze Burger.
1:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Explore downtown Sevierville including the Dolly statue in front of the courthouse and Wings of Wander, just around the corner. Both are great photo ops, too!

6:30PM – 8:00PM: That shopping wore you right out, didn’t it? The Chop House is located inside the Tanger Outlet plaza and offers up tasty steaks, salads, and other delights.
8:00PM – 10:00PM: Finish your evening walking around the many shops at The Island. Make sure to take a moment to sit and enjoy the synchronized fountain and take in the night view from the Wheel!
Filled with fun, Sevierville is a great place for a getaway. Whether just for a day, two days or a week, there is plenty to fill your days. Or head to the National Park and do a lot of nothing except staring out at the mountain vistas and soaking in their beauty!
