A Couples Guide to the Perfect Weekend in Sevierville

Posted on March 19, 2021March 22, 2021

A romantic evening looking out at the mountain view before you, sipping wine with just you and your partner. Can’t get that where you are? Head out to Sevierville, and you can experience all that and more during your stay in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. If you’re not sure where to start, check out the list below for some inspiration!

The Lodge at Five Oaks

Start your romantic getaway by checking in at the Lodge, where you can kick your feet up and relax on new, rustic hickory chairs or warm up by the gas fireplace meant just for the two of you. Once you’re ready for a day of adventure, brew some fresh coffee at your own coffee station in the kitchen and let the day begin!

Scenic Helicopter Tours

Get the lay of the land with a helicopter tour that takes you and your love 1,200 feet into the air for an unbeatable view of the Smokies and surrounding landscape. If there’s something in particular you’d like to see a bit longer, say so, and the pilot can customize your flight to keep you there for a little longer! It’s all about you and your significant other this weekend.

Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant

After a long day, grab a bite to eat at Sevierville’s oldest restaurant! Feast on some classic Southern favorites while you take in the nature around you. That’s right, the restaurant is located right in the middle of an operational apple orchard! Nearby is the Apple Barn & Cider Mill, which has an old general store feel. Shelves are lined with sweet treats for your after-dinner sweet tooth!

Robert A. Tino Gallery

Get in touch with your artistic side by stopping by the Tino Gallery, where you can purchase Smoky Mountain inspired works for your home – a great souvenir from your travels. Tino has been working as a local artist since the 1980s and often paints actual Sevierville locations such as barns and the landscape.

With so much to do and so little time, be sure to add these stops to your itinerary for the full Sevierville experience!
