When guests come to Sevierville, they know they will be greeted by the majestic Smoky Mountains and get to enjoy some of the most delicious southern food around. In addition to the wonderful accommodations, delicious food, southern hospitality, and unforgettable views, travelers can also take advantage of some of the most fun and interesting attractions in Tennessee while in town. Below, we will be highlighting some of the fun things to do and see in Sevierville so that you can plan your trip accordingly. 

Museums and Parks

Sevierville is home to several interesting and fun museums. Alcatraz East is a crime museum that takes a look at crime history through fun, interactive exhibits. The Buttonwillow Civil War Theater is a great place to explore artifacts and stories from the Civil War Era. The Hollywood Wax Museum is a fun place to see wax statues of your favorite celebrities, while the Sevier County Heritage Museum has an assortment of information and artifacts about Sevierville’s rich and interesting history. The Tennessee Museum of Aviation is a great place to visit if you want to learn all about warbird aircraft from WWII through the Vietnam era. 

Rides and Fun Parks

Top Jump Trampoline Park and Sevier Air Trampoline Park are great places to visit for kids and adults alike who like to bounce around and have some fun in a ninja warrior park environment. The Track is a fun place for small kids and adolescents to ride rides without waiting in long lines. Dollywood is also a great theme park to take the kids while you’re visiting Sevierville, and you can also visit Ober Gatlinburg for some indoor and winter activities such as ice skating, tubing, skiing/snowboarding, and more. Sky High Air Tours is a fun ride for people of all ages, as you can get a bird’s eye view of the beautiful Smoky Mountains from your own private plane. 

Unique Family-Friendly Attractions You’ll Only Find in Sevierville 

Forbidden Caverns is a place you’ll definitely want to visit because it boasts some of the most unique and interesting cave structures in Tennessee. Ancient Lore Village is a new and one of a kind village that looks like it’s straight out of a fairytale. Enjoy accommodations, dining, attractions and more all contained within the Ancient Lore Village. Axe throwing is also available at both the Ancient Lore Village and the Axe House Tavern with two locations (one in Sevierville and one in Pigeon Forge). You can also visit a cool indoor zoo featuring tons of cool animals you won’t be able to see in many other places in the United States at the Rainforest Adventure Park.
