More Than Just a Pit Stop
When planning a road trip, rest stops and gas stations are essentials, but rarely are they the destination. Buc-ee’s in Sevierville, Tennessee, is set to change that narrative. Newly opened in June 2023 at Exit 407 off I-40, Buc-ee’s is a place you’ll want to stop on your way to and from the Smoky Mountains. Here’s why:
Buc-ee’s Sevierville is the World’s Largest Convenience Store
Buc-ee’s Sevierville currently holds the title of world’s largest convenience store and sprawls over 74,000 square feet. That’s bigger than a football field! Sevierville will hold this title for a year until a larger Buc-ee’s opens in Luling, Texas, in June 2024. But the Sevierville location will continue to have plenty to brag about, including its 250-foot-long car wash. The spacious design allows for easy movement, quick food orders, and ample RV parking—this is the first Buc-ee’s to incorporate pull-through RV parking into its design.
Cleanest Restrooms Around Town
Buc-ee’s is renowned for its clean restrooms, having earned the title of the cleanest gas station restrooms several times from Cintas, GasBuddy, TripAdvisor, and others. Sevierville’s Buc-ee’s will offer 71 toilets (36 men’s and 35 women’s), ensuring a clean and comfortable stop for all travelers.
120 Fueling Stations
The new Sevierville Buc-ee’s will boast 120 fueling positions (60 double-sided pumps) plus 20 EV charging stations, ensuring you’ll rarely, if ever, need to wait for gas.
Unbeatable barbecue
Food is a big deal at Buc-ee’s. The chain’s director of barbecue, eight-time world BBQ champion Randy Pauly, ensures that both Texas-style beef and pork are on the menu. The barbecue brisket sandwiches are the chain’s biggest-selling item at all locations. Sevierville’s barbecue area is extra large, promising a show as you watch your food being prepared.
Branded merch for all
In addition to barbecue, Buc-ee’s offers branded packaged snacks, fresh deli foods, and bakery items. The store-made deli foods include breakfast burritos, tacos, chicken sandwiches, salads, and more. Baked goodies include cookies, pies, cakes, homemade fudge, and kolaches—a Czech pastry roll filled with meat, cheese, or fruit.
Buc-ee’s Sevierville will also carry an eclectic mix of goods by local artisans, including framed paintings—some showcasing the Smoky Mountains. Find the latest merch, much of it bearing the Buc-ee’s beaver logo. You’ll find T-shirts, magnets, swimsuits, hoodies, backpacks, stuffed animals, toothbrushes, keychains, dog collars, travel cups, sunglasses, coolers, car fresheners, soaps, and so much more.
For pet owners, a large grassy area is available for you to walk your dog around. Bag dispensers and disposal units are available so you can readily clean up any messes.
Stop and See Buc-ee’s Sevierville; it’s the place to be!
Buc-ee’s is just the beginning of a new 200-acre development called “The 407: Gateway to Adventure” that’s being built in partnership with Kituwah, LLC and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. The future development will house a Marriott Courtyard, various entertainment venues, retail and dining options, and more reasons to stop.
