APPALACHIAN WORDFEST
Date: March 1, 2025
Celebrate the creativity and storytelling traditions of the Appalachian Mountains a
Appalachian Wordfest, presented by the Rose Glen Literary Festival.
This vibrant event brings together authors, publishers, poets, and literature lovers for
writer’s workshops, book signings, live podcasts, and a poetry slam competition.
With free admission, it’s a must-go gathering for book enthusiasts.The 15th annual
event will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the
Sevierville Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
BRUCE STREET BREWFEST MICROBREW FESTIVAL
Date: May 10, 2025
Beer lovers unite as the 8th annual Bruce Street Brewfest, held in Historic
Downtown Sevierville, serves up craft beers, tasty food, and upbeat music.
Guests of all ages may attend, but adults age 21+ are invited to sample from
dozens of home and professional brewers to enjoy a wide range of beers from
hoppy IPAs to malty stouts. Admission includes beer, a souvenir glass, and
musical entertainment. Food will be available for purchase from a variety
of food trucks. Festival goers can cast votes in the People’s Choice
competition; there’s also a judged competition among homebrewers.
Tickets start under $42 per person (and there is a special rate
for designated drivers). Advance tickets are strongly recommended.

BLOOMIN’ BBQ MUSIC & FOOD FESTIVAL
Dates: May 16 & 17, 2025
Kick off the summer in historic downtown Sevierville at
Bloomin’ BBQ Music & Food Festival
Sevierville’s signature spring event showcases a wide variety of live
music on multiple stages throughout the weekend, featuring the sounds
of classic Tennessee country. Sample mouthwatering barbecue from competitors
in the Tennessee State Championship BBQ Cook Off and browse the works of over
70 artisans and crafters. Don’t miss the vocal competition honoring Dolly
Parton—a beloved highlight of the festival.
SEVIERVILLE’S SMALLMOUTH KING BASS TOURNAMENT
Dates: June 7 & 8, 2025
Anglers from across the region gather for the Sevierville’s
Smallmouth Bass King Tournament

Competitors can fish from the shore, wade, or kayak the Little Pigeon River
and its tributaries, all of which will be teeming with thousands of migrating
bass on their spring runs. Winners are crowned based on their two-day total length
of smallmouth bass greater than 12 inches long. Whether you're a seasoned fisherman
or a curious spectator, this seventh annual event is sure to impress.


DUMPLIN VALLEY BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL
Dates: September 18–20, 2025
Don’t miss the 25th annual
Dumplin Valley Bluegrass Festival
a cornerstone of Sevierville’s music scene. Enjoy lively concerts, impromptu
jam sessions, and musical community vibes. Shows start at Noon and wrap up around
11 p.m. Bring a chair or, better yet, camp out on site to soak up the atmosphere.

SEVIERVILLE’S SMOKY MOUNTAIN HARVEST FEST
Dates: September 19 – October 31, 2025
Autumn in Sevierville comes alive during
Smoky Mountain Harvest Fest.
Take scenic drives through the foothills of the Smokies to see fall
colors at their peak, enjoy beautiful seasonal decorations, or explore
local pumpkin patches and corn mazes for a quintessential seasonal experience.

History & Haunts

SEVIERVILLE’S SMOKY MOUNTAIN WINTERFEST
Dates: November 7, 2025 – February 16, 2026
Celebrate the holiday season at
Smoky Mountain Winterfest .
where dazzling light displays and festive activities create a magical atmosphere.
Highlights include Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland and SkyLand’s Festival of Lights.

CHRISTMAS AT THE COURTHOUSE

Christmas at the Courthouse
is a fun kick-off to the festive holiday season. Currently scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at
the iconic courthouse in Historic Downtown Sevierville, the celebration for all ages offers live musical
performances by local talent, seasonal decorations, holiday treats, special appearances by the Grinch,
photos with Santa Claus, children’s crafts, face painting, hot cocoa, wagon rides, and the evening’s
highlight: a traditional lighting of the official Christmas tree on the Courthouse lawn.
SEVIERVILLE’S 63rd ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE
Dates: December 6, 2025
Step into a winter wonderland at
Sevierville's Annual Christmas Parade
Watch floats glide through historic downtown Sevierville as Christmas music fills the air.
The Hometown Christmas themed parade is a longstanding tradition that will fill the
streets with fun for the 63rd time beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Historic Downtown Sevierville.
The best viewing spot? Court Avenue near the Sevier County Courthouse! Keep an eye out for
Santa as he waves to the crowd, making this beloved parade the perfect finale to Sevierville’s year of celebrations.
